Michael Clayton is the 2008 thriller starring George Clooney as a "fixer" for a high-priced law firm who finds himself conflicted when his lawyer mentor has a psychotic incident and threatens to blow the whistle on one of the firm's top clients. The film marked the diretorial debut of Tony Gilroy, who also wrote the film and was a screenwriter on the first three Jason Bourne films. He also was the writer/director of The Bourne Legacy.
