Miami Vice - Season 4

The following weapons were used in the fourth season of the television series Miami Vice:


Handguns

Smith & Wesson 645

Sonny Crockett (Don Johnson) carries a Smith & Wesson 645 as his primary weapon during the third and fourth seasons of the show. At the time, it was from Smith & Wesson's brand new line of second generation handguns, as the producers wanted to keep up Crockett carrying a State of the Art pistol.

Smith & Wesson Model 36 "Chief's Special"

Det. Gina Calabrese (Saundra Santiago) and Det. Trudy Joplin (Olivia Brown) carry Smith & Wesson Model 36s as their sidearms throughout the series. Jack Rivers (Steven Keats) also uses a Model 36 at the end of "Contempt of Court".

Colt Trooper MK V

Lt. Martin Castillo (Edward James Olmos) uses a Colt Trooper MK V with Pachmayr grips as his sidearm throughout the season.

Browning Hi-Power

Det. Stan Switek (Michael Talbott) uses a nickel Browning Hi-Power with target sights as his sidearm throughout the season.

Walker Monroe (Ving Rhames) uses a blued Hi-Power in "Child's Play" (the Browning Hi-Power is also a central part of the episode).

Beretta Cheetah

Esther Nevin (Seret Scott) uses a stainless Beretta Cheetah at the end of "The Big Thaw".

Beretta 92F

FBI Agent Timothy Anderson (Harry Shearer) also uses a Beretta 92F in "The Cows of October".

Remington 870

A Vice detective uses a Remington 870 in "God's Work". Several MDPD officers use Remington 870s in "Vote of Confidence".

Mossberg 500

Several FBI Agents use Mossberg 500s in "The Cows of October". Vice detectives also uses Mossberg 500s in "Vote of Confidence".

Switek uses an IMI Uzi during an arms deal in "Child's Play". Several henchmen use them in the same episode.

A hitman in "A Rock and a Hard Place" uses a Cobray M11/9 without a stock.

Rifles

M16A1

An SRT member uses an M16A1 with A2 handguards in "Child's Play".

M16A1 with A2 style handguards - 5.56x45mm. Putting the distinctive A2 handguards on the older rifle was a method used by Movie/TV armorers to simulate A2 rifles when M16A1s were the only ones available. The same thing has been done vice-versa, Using M16A2's with A1 handguards for Vietnam War B Movies.
