One of the first screenshots for the games shows Snake with what appears to be an FN FAL incorrectly using a 30-round 5.56mm magazine.

Shipunov 2A42

A Shipunov 2A42 chaingun can be seen mounted on a helicopter in IGN's extended gameplay video.

The 2A42 on Snake's getaway chopper (which is intended to extract Paz and Chico as well, although the viewing ended early due to time constraints). Note that the chopper combines aspects of both the Mi-24D and the Mi-28 Havoc, such as the former's sizable transport bay and the latter's cockpits and its usage of the Shipunov.
