Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
The following weapons were used in Season 4 of the series Magnum P.I.:
Handguns
Colt Government Model
The main handgun used by Thomas Magnum (Tom Selleck) is a Colt MKIV/Series 70 Government Model, which is a commercial version of the U.S. Military M1911A1. This handgun is supposed to be the one he carried during his service in Vietnam and is sometimes carried in a tanker-style holster, most often seen carried inside wast band small of back, no holster. It is sometimes seen in Magnum's flashbacks to Vietnam. A former propmaster for the show has been quoted saying that the original gun was a traditional .45 ACP 1911, but was soon changed to a 9mm version because .45 ACP blanks were too hard to get on location for the show.
Detonics Pocket 9
Magnum uses a Detonics Pocket 9 as a backup in "Let the Punishment Fit the Crime" (S4E17).
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 19 (snub)
Luther H. Gillis (Eugene Roche) carries a blued Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose (2½" bbl.) in "Luther Gillis: File #521" (S4E02).
Smith & Wesson Model 36
Luther H. Gillis (Eugene Roche) carries a blue Smith & Wesson Model 36 (2" bbl.) in "The Return of Luther Gillis" (S4E16).
Smith & Wesson Model 15
The Smith & Wesson Model 15 is carried by officers of the Honolulu Police Department. In "I Witness" (S4E21), a gunman is armed with a S&W 15 revolver.
Submachine Guns
Uzi
Orville "Rick" Wright (Larry Manetti) uses an Uzi submachine gun in "Distant Relative" (S4E04). In "Jororo Farewell" (S4E11), Magnum is armed with an Uzi while confronting a plane at takeoff.
Shotguns
12 Gauge Double Barreled shotgun
Magnum uses a 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun to shoot down Higgins' remote control airplane in "Distant Relative" (S4E04). In "I Witness" (S4E21), a gunman is armed with a similar shotgun.
