The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob (original title Les Aventures de Rabbi Jacob) is a 1973 French comedy directed by Gérard Oury and starring Louis de Funès as Victor Pivert, a French businessman who has to impersonate Rabbi Jacob from New York and passed through numerous comedy situations together with Mohamed Larbi Slimane, an Arab rebel leader who is pursued by cruel Colonel Farès.

Unidentified pistol

One of Farès' men is armed with an unidentified pistol. When Mohamed Larbi Slimane disarms the henchmen, his pistol switches to MAB Model D. However, during the airport scene with the redheaded woman, it switches back to the unidentified pistol when Victor Pivert forces Slimane to fire it.

MAB Model D

When Mohamed Larbi Slimane (Claude Giraud) disarms Farès' henchman, the pistol switches to MAB Model D. Slimane uses it in several scenes, and Victor Pivert (Louis de Funès) briefly holds the pistol while attempting to take it from Slimane while in the car.
