Machine Gun McCain or Gli Intoccabili (Eng.: For a Price) is a 1969 Italian gangster film starring John Cassavetes, Britt Ekland, Peter Falk and Gabriele Ferzetti, directed by Giuliano Montaldo. It was the third of ten films that featured Cassavetes onscreen with his wife Gena Rowlands.

The following weapons were used in the film Machine Gun McCain:

Handguns

Smith & Wesson Model 49

Hank McCain (John Cassavetes) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 49 in a shoulder holster. He draws it in Rosemany's apartment.

Colt Detective Special

Barclay (Claudio Biava) and Cuda (James Morrison) carry Colt Detective Specials.

Beretta Jetfire

Rosemary (Gena Rowlands) briefly uses a Beretta Jetfire.

Smith & Wesson Model 36

Pete Zacari (Tony Kendall) fires a Smith & Wesson Model 36 at the end of the film.

Colt Python

Charlie Adamo (Peter Falk) is briefly seen with a Colt Python after the casino robbery.

Submachine Guns

Sten Mk II

Hank McCain's "machine gun" is a Sten Mk II.

M3 Grease Gun

Gangsters execute Charlie Adamo and Duke Mazzanga (Luigi Pistilli) with M3 Grease Guns.

M3 "Grease Gun" .45 ACP. The later model M3A1 would eliminate the crank lever for cocking the bolt, and instead used a simple hole in the bolt for the shooter to use their finger.

Gangsters are seen with Madsen M50s at the end of the film.

Other

Mk 2 Hand Grenade

Hank McCain uses a pair of Mk 2 Hand Grenades to remove the security gate in front of the casino's vault.

Marlin Model 1895

A guard at San Quentin is seen with a Marlin Model 1895 lever-action rifle. The side ejection port is visible as is the lever beneath the guards' cocking hand. Also the barrel style and front sights would suggest the Marlin Model 1895.
