Laurence Kerr Olivier (May 22, 1907 – July 11, 1989) was an English theatre and cinema actor. He is considered to be one of the greatest actors of the XX century. Olivier had winned Academy Awards two times and was nominated nine times more; he also got many other awards, and in 1970 he was awared the title of Baron Olivier.
