Kick-Ass is the 2010 feature film adaptation of the Mark Millar/John Romita, Jr. comic book series of the same name. Directed by Matthew Vaughn, the film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson as a nerdy high school teenager who one day decides to fight crime as a masked superhero, despite his lack of powers, training, or any reason to do so. The film's cast included Nicolas Cage, Mark Strong, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Chloe Moretz. The sequel Kick-Ass 2 was released in 2013.

A heavily modified Armsel Protecta is used by one of the mobsters shooting at Hit Girl during the finale. It differs from most examples of the weapon due to having a muzzle brake, a M1913 rail over the drum and the back half of the weapon modified to take a M4 style stock.

Heckler & Koch MP5K
A Heckler & Koch MP5K is fired by one of Frank D'Amico's men at Hit Girl during the execution rescue scene. Hit Girl is also seen loading and pointing one, with a 15 round magazine, at Kick-Ass in the Macready's armory before placing it in her tote-bag prior to the assault on the D'Amico's penthouse (it's never seen again).

Prop rotary guns
Dave Lizewski aka "Kick Ass" uses two rotary multi-barreled guns which are basically tiny GE M134 miniguns, mounted on a jetpack during the finale. These are custom built props utilizing special effects to enable the gunfire and flashes in the film.

Fake Mk 153 SMAW
A mockup of a Mk 153 SMAW, referred to throughout the movie as a "bazooka", is used by Huge Goon (Stu "Large" Riley) during the finale. The trigger/firing mechanism looks like the frame of a H&K MK23 pistol mated to the lower receiver of a H&K MP5 sub machinegun. Many other details differ from the real weapon upon close inspection.

During Sergeant Marcus Williams' visit to the safehouse various guns can be seen, among them: a couple of G36Cs with Aimpoint sights, a G36E equipped with an AG36 grenade launcher, an M14 with a bipod, a scoped Remington M700, an H&K PSG-1 (rumored to be the one used by Big-Daddy to kill Rasul's doorguard), three M16s, one of them equipped with a M203 grenade launcher, a couple of Mini-Uzis, an HK91A2 with a scope,an HK SL8, a Blaser 93, a SIG SG 552 Commando with an ACOG and suppressor, and an AR-15 with a Hunting Scope and suppressor.
In the marketing run up to the film's release, there are series of very cool posters featuring each of the superheroes individually. This poster was the solo teaser poster in the months prior to the release of the film.
