The following weapons were used in the film Jonathan of the Bears:
Handguns
Single Action Army
A trigute of the near all Western , the Single Action Army revolvers is the most popular handguns, appeared in this movie.

A close view of the SAA revolver in the hands of Jonathan Kowalski (
Franco Nero).

Nagant M1895
One of the vigilantes very briefly can be holds the Nagant M1895. All shot of it was very blured due the moving.
Nagant M1895 Revolver - 7.62x38R Nagant. This example was dated 1939 manufacture and was a War time issued weapon. Note the angular front sight which was used from 1930s.

Mauser C96 "Broomhandle"
The Mauser C96 "Broomhandle" is the Kaspar's (Rodrigo Obregón) firearm of choice.
Pre-War dated Mauser C96 "Broomhandle" Commercial Version - 7.63x25mm Mauser. Note the rear tangent sight; in something of a display of wishful thinking, the C96's sight is adjustable for ranges up to 1000 meters. Later examples had a sight adjustable to a still unrealistic 500 meters. C96 pistols with fixed rear sights are very rare.
Kaspar (at the center) carry the Mauser into the typical wooden holster. One of his thugs (at the left) carry the holstered SAA.
Kaspar brandishes his Mauser. One of his thugs (at the far right) holds the Winchester rifle.
Kaspar aims his Mauser at the indiane boy.
Kaspar holds his Mauser after firing it.
