Isonzo is the third entry of the WWI Game Series, taking the setting to the Alpines Front and is named after the twelve Battles of the Isonzo River from 1915 to 1918 in northern Italy. At that time, Austria-Hungary's troops fought bloody battles against Italy's soldiers in various areas in the Alps. A good 500,000 people lost their lives in the process.
