Ishtar

Ishtar (1987)

Ishtar is a 1987 adventure comedy written and directed by Elaine May and starring Warren Beatty and Dustin Hoffman as Lyle Rogers and Chuck Clarke, a pair of inept songwriters who accept a job in Morocco and unwittingly become involved in a government coup involving the CIA. The film co-stars Isabelle Adjani as Shirra Assel. The film is notorious for being one of the biggest box office bombs of the 1980's.
