A Ruger Speed Six revolver is used by Rowan (James Marsden) as a weapon of choice throughout the film. He's seen firing a few shots to the bear but with no effect.

A Colt Gold Cup National Match is Beckett's (Thomas Jane) sidearm and he's seen using it multiple times throughout the film.

Rifles

Rossi Model 62 SA

A Rossi Model 62 SA pump action rifle is seen inside Beckett's gun case along with a Winchester Model 70 and two O/U shotguns.

Winchester Model 70

A Winchester Model 70 rifle is Beckett's (Thomas Jane) primary firearm and he's seen carrying it throughout the film. In the film's end the gun is also used by Rowan (James Marsden).

Winchester Model 1894

A Winchester Model 1894 rifle is used by the two bear poachers. The gun was also used to kill Johnny Cadillac (Adam Beach).

The bear poacher starts laughing after he hits Cadillac with his rifle.

The other bear hunter patrolls the forest with the Winchester Model 1894.

Parker-Hale M-85

A Parker-Hale M-85 rifle is Douglass' (Billy Bob Thornton) primary firearm. He's seen using it as a hunting weapon and he always carries it.

Parker-Hale 1200 series rifle.

Douglass holds his rifle.

Wounded Douglass takes aim at the bear.

Douglass pulls the trigger to shoot the charging bear but he soon realizes that the gun is empty.

Shotguns

Remington 870 Police Magnum

A Remington 870 Police Magnum shotgun is carried by Gerry Smith (Reese Alexander).

Gerry holds the shotgun.

Remington 870 Slug Gun

A Remington 870 Slug Gun is used by Sully (Scott Glenn) in the film's ending. Also the film's poster shows Beckett holding a Remington 870 Slug Gun.

A Mossberg 500 shotgun appears to be the main sidearm of two lumberjacks.
