In Search for Captain Grant (V poiskakh kapitana Granta; Russian: В поисках капитана Гранта) is a 1986 Soviet-Bulgarian adventure mini-series (at Bulgarian language it known as: По следите на капитан Грант; Po sledite na kapitan Grant, lit. On the trail of Captain Grant), based on the novel "In Search of the Castaways" by Jules Verne.

Bob Tar (Aleksandr Abdulov) carries a Remington 1858 New Army with a cartridge conversion as his sidearm in the film. Tom "Ben Joyce" Ayrton (Djoko Rosic) also uses the Remington 1858 with a cartridge conversion.
Gasser M1873
The Gasser M1873 revolvers uses by some characters.
ZKR 551
One Bob Tar's man carries what seems a ZKR 551 revolver (standing on a Colt SAA).
Smith & Wesson No.3 Russian Model
Several Bob Tar's men uses the Smith & Wesson No.3 Russian Model revolvers.
Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action
Lady Glenarvan (Tamara Akulova) uses the double-action top-break revolver, which seems a Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action. During the stage in New Zealand, Lord Glenarvan (Nikolai Yeryomenko, Jr.) also uses this revolver.

Major McNabbs (Vladimir Gostyukhin) found on the grave of the Maori's leader the two Flintlock Muskets, and uses it subsequently. On closer inspection, however, this is nothing more than a mocked-up IZh-18 shotguns. These are very accurate copies, and can be identified only by the characteristic spur on the trigger guard.
