I Am the Law (Original title: Il prefetto di ferro) is a 1977 Italian biographical crime drama directed by Pasquale Squitieri. The story takes place in 1925, when the Italian fascist government sent the new prefect of Sicily with the task of definitively destroy organized crime. Starring Giuliano Gemma as prefect Cesare Mori and Claudia Cardinale as Sicilian peasant woman Anna Torrisi.
