Homeland is a television drama/thriller that stars Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison, a CIA officer suffering from bipolar disorder, who is convinced that Sgt. Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis), a recently released US Marine who was captured by Al Qaeda several years ago, has in fact become a sleeper agent for the terrorist organization.
