Handguns

Smith & Wesson Model 36

The main sidearm of the Five-O detectives is Smith & Wesson Model 36. Those who carry the handgun include Steve McGarrett (Jack Lord), Danny "Danno" Williams (James MacArthur) and Ben Kokua (Al Harrington).

Smith and Wesson Model 36 - .38 special - 5 shot. First pattern with flat latch cylinder release.

M1 Carbine

Different variants of the M1 Carbine are seen used in the series.

Rifles

M16 SP1

The M16 is prominently used by McGarrett and HPD officers. Some of the footage seen is from Season 4's "And I Want Some Candy and a Gun That Shoots" (S4E06).

The original M16, the first version, firing in a 20-round magazine, adopted in large numbers by the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. This has the original 3-prong flash hider. It would later be replaced by the upgraded M16A1 - 5.56x45mm

Remington 700

A Remington 700 is used.
