Colt Detective Special

In later seasons, Steve McGarrett (Jack Lord) carries a Colt Detective Special as his sidearm. It appears that in this season he carries a third generation model. Officer Lori Wilson (Sharon Farrell) also carries a DS with a hammer shroud as her sidearm.

Colt Government Model

A Colt MKIV/Series 70 Government Model is used by McGarrett to shoot up Wo Fat's lab in the series finale "Woe to Wo Fat" (S12E19).

The actual main prop from the show Magnum P.I. - (Colt MKIV/Series 70 Government Model, 9×19mm Parabellum, serial number 70L33101, currently owned by the National Firearms Museum).

Smith & Wesson Model 36

The main sidearm of the Five-O detectives is Smith & Wesson Model 36. Those who carry the handgun include Duke Lukela (Herman Wedemeyer) and Det. James "Kimo" Carew (William Smith).

What appears to be a Heckler & Koch P9S is used by several suspects throughout "Use a Gun, Go To Hell" (S12E07).

As what was common for productions in the 1970's and 1980's, the Valmet M71S rifle is seen used as a substitute for the AK-47. In the series finale "Woe to Wo Fat" (S12E19), Wo Fat (Khigh Dheigh) carries the Valmet while chasing McGarrett.
