Hard Hunted is a 1992 action movie revolving around a stolen nuclear detonator hidden inside a jade statue. In order to prevent this device from falling into the hands of crime lord Kane, the US government sends a team of beautiful but lethal female agents to retrieve the device.

The movie is directed by Andy Sidaris as part of his “Bullets, Bombs and Babes” (a.k.a. “L.E.T.H.A.L. Ladies”) film series, where most of the leading ladies were ex-Playmates: Dona Speir (Donna) was in March 1984, Roberta Vasquez (Nicole) in November 1984 and Cynthia Brimhall (Edy) in October 1985.

Interestingly, some of the male cast are sons of well-known actors. In this case, Tony Peck (Lucas) is the son of Gregory Peck and Geoffrey Moore (Kane) is the son of Roger Moore.

The following weapons were used in the film Hard Hunted:

Handguns

Smith & Wesson 622

Lucas (Tony Peck), director of the secret agency, carries a Smith & Wesson 622 as his side-arm during the mission in Hawaii. It can be distinguished from the stainless-steel Model 2206 by the alloy frame that has a different tone than the stainless steel slide.

Beretta 950BS Jetfire

Donna (Dona Speir) uses a Beretta 950BS Jetfire to defend herself during the gyrocopter attack in Arizona. Edy (Cynthia Brimhall) uses one as well during the harbour attack.

Raven Arms MP-25

Nicole (Roberta Vasquez) uses a Raven Arms MP-25 during the gyrocopter attack in Arizona. In addition, Radio host Ava (Ava Cadell) keeps one hidden in her garter belt.

Beretta 92FS

The Beretta 92FS is used by one of Kane’s thugs plus by Donna and Cole (Buzzy Kerbox) at the remote Pacific island where both are being kept in captivity.

Taurus Model 85

Several of Kane’s thugs are armed with the Taurus Model 85 during scenes aboard his yacht. On the remote Pacific island, both Pico (Rodrigo Obregón) and Skip (Skip Ward) are seen using one.

Dan Wesson Model 15-VH

Shane (Michael J. Shane) carries a chrome Dan Wesson Model 15-VH and uses it during the gunfight at the Molokai airport plus at the beach club to impress Becky (Becky Mullen).

Miscellaneous

M33 Hand Grenade

The pilot of the plane taking Donna to a secret location (uncredited actor) carries both an M33 as well as a M26 hand grenade. She takes the M33 off him and threatens to destroy the plane with it.

High Heel Grenade

When Edy and Lucas are being attacked at the marina, Edy unscrews one of her high heels and Lucas throws it at attackers. It turns out to be some sort of grenade, inclusive an old-style red warning light…

Fake Browning AN/M2

The gyrocopter that Raven flies around in is equipped with several fake weapons. Next to the obvious fake missiles (seen moving along a string when launched!), there’s a machine gun in the front. At first sight it looks like a Browning AN/M2 but because of the limited space, it’s probably some metal tube with holes in it.

Cover

The cover shows Nicole with a Ruger MZ14 Bullpup and Donna with a Smith & Wesson 3913 “Ladysmith”, both guns are not actually used in the movie.

Alternative Covers

Several alternative covers for this movie circulate on the internet, most prominently (variations on) below two versions. The cover on the left seems most accurate, with Nicole (left) carrying an Intratec TEC-22 and Donna (right) carrying a Smith & Wesson 3913 “Ladysmith” (does not appear in the movie).

The cover on the right is actually mixing up two Andy Sidaris movies. Even though the cover says "Hard Hunted", the image shows Dona Speir (left) carrying a Steyr AUG A1 and Hope Marie Carlton (right) carrying a crossbow and a Davis P-32) as characters from Savage Beach.
