Halloween Ends is the 2022 direct sequel that is the third and perhaps final feature in the Halloween update trilogy that began with the 2018 film. Jamie Lee Curtis once again reprises her role as Laurie Strode, who confronts her nemesis Michael Myers for one last time. The cast includes Rohan Campbell as well as returning cast members Will Patton, Andi Matichak, Omar Dorsey, and Kyle Richards. The 2022 film, which was filmed back-to-back with Halloween Kills, once again was directed by David Gordon Green from a screenplay again co-written by Green and Danny McBride. John Carpenter returns as executive producer. The film premiered in theaters as well as the streaming service Peacock on October 14, 2022.
