In New York, a Glock 17 is pulled by an NYPD officer (Mick Preston).

2nd Generation Glock 17 - 9x19mm. This model added finger stepping and cuts to the backstrap of the frame to make it easier to hold than the Generation 1 model.

Soldiers with the Earth Defense Force are seen with the M16A1 rifle.

Trivia

Making a cameo appearance in this film is the Godzilla kaiju featured in the 1998 Roland Emmerich film. In the film, this creature is known as Zilla and is defeated by Godzilla in less than twenty seconds.
