The following weapons were used in the film The Girl Who Played with Fire (2009):

The Girl Who Played with Fire (2009)

Colt Python

While searching the apartment of Nils Bjurman (Peter Andersson), Lisbeth Salander (Noomi Rapace) finds a nickel plated Colt Python with a 4" inch barrel, which she later holds to Bjurman's head. The gun is later found at the murder scene of Dag Svensson (Hans Christian Thulin) and Mia Johansson (Jennie Silfverhjelm). In the book, the murder weapon was an erroneously named "Colt .45 Magnum" and said to be the same kind that killed Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme. In real life, the investigation pointed to .357 Magnum being used, making the movie more accurate.
