The Ghost from Hovrino (Russian: Призрак из Ховрино; Prizrak iz Khovrino) is a 2012 Russian mystery horror a factual remake of cult American movie The Blair Witch Project, directed by Kirill Khrestinin (who also play one of the mayn characters). A group of four adventurer ghostbusters comes to Khovrino forest near Ryazan to find a mysterious ghost, which inhabitated in this forest by the legends.

PC 1 In fact, the Khovrino forest had never exist, while the Khovrino is a district of the Moscow, whell known by it's abbandoned Khovrinskaya Hospital.

PC 2 Correct translation of the Russian title is The Ghost of the Khovrino's Forest, but the English subtitled version give The Ghost from Hovrino. The same version gave incorrect transliteration of several character's names, so, correct transliterations are given in bracets.

PC 3 This movie was stiles as pseudo-documentary filming, which means the medium quality of film and trembling camera.

Makarov PM

Anton Vaganov (Anton Demkin) brings the Makarov PM fore the protection from the ghost. This pistol also appears in the hands of Kirill Alex (Kirill Khrestinin) and Artem Varanov (Artem Polienko). Considering, that the ghost is the unmaterial creature, using the firearm against it is a very strange choices.
