Mosgaz. Major Tcherkasov's New Case (Mosgas. Novoye delo mayora Tcherkasova; titled Formula for Revenge (Formula mesti) prior to release and in DVD release) is a 2019 Russian detective TV series. In 1977 Militsiya Maj. Ivan Petrovich Tcherkasov (Andrey Smolyakov) investigates the death of a young student. The complex and complicated investigation leads Tcherkasov to the drug ring.

Novoye delo mayora Tcherkasova is the sixth installment in the TV series about detective Ivan Tcherkasov.

The following weapons were used in the television series Formula of Revenge (Formula mesti):

Makarov PM (MP-371)

Makarov PM pistols, used by Militsiya Maj. Ivan Petrovich Tcherkasov (Andrey Smolyakov), Capt. Gennadiy Ivanovich Ryukhin (Sergey Stepanchenko), and Sgt. Egor Osadchiy (Aleksandr Golubev), turn out to be blank-firing MP-371s; some close-ups reveal markings on the guns. Several different versions of MP-371 are used (MP-371s were converted from various versions of live PM and less-lethal IZh pistols).
