Five Branded Women is a 1960 American-Italian war drama film set during WWII in Jugoslavia and directed by Martin Ritt. Starring Silvana Mangano, Jeanne Moreau, Vera Miles, Barbara Bel Geddes and Carla Gravina.

MP40

Ljuba (Jeanne Moreau), Mira (Carla Gravina) and Velko (Van Heflin) are seen with MP40s. This submachine gun carry some German soldiers and officers, inlcude Capt. Erik Reinhardt (Richard Basehart). His weapon receive Daniza (Vera Miles).

Gewehr 98

Most German infantrymen and also some partisans are armed with Gewehr 98s. Jovanka (Silvana Mangano) and Ljuba (Jeanne Moreau) receive a rifle as the members of firing squad. Gewehr 98 carries usually Mira (Carla Gravina).
