Evgeni Pavlovich Leonov (September 2, 1926 – January 29, 1994) was a famous Soviet stage and scren actor. He started his cinema career in 1949 and appeared in more then 70 movies, including such popular films as Gentlemen of Fortune (1971), Afonya (1975), Mimino (1977), An Ordinary Miracle (1978), Autumn Marathon (1979), Say a Word for the Poor Hussar (1980), Kin-dza-dza! (1986). He also voiced many animations.
