Escanaba in da Moonlight is a 2001 low budget Indie starring Jeff Daniels. It is a comedy regarding redneck hunters from Michigan and is a part of Daniel's ongoing commitment to entice film production to the state of Michigan. The Comedy itself is hit or miss, with humor that is mostly enjoyed (and understood) by locals to the Michigan area. The film had very limited theatrical release and limited DVD release and is not very well known amongst the film going public.

The Marlin 336c in .30-30 Winchester or .35 Remington, was used by Rueben Soady (Jeff Daniels).
Mossberg 500 with Field Barrel
A Mossberg 500 shotgun w/ field barrel - 12 gauge, used by Jimmer Negamanee (Wayne David Parker ).
Unknown Bolt Action Rifle
Either a Remington 700 or a Winchester 70 (in 30-06) was used by Remnar Soady (Joey Albright)
