End of Days is a 1999 supernatural thriller starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as a private security specialist who finds himself protecting a young woman from a man who could represent the ultimate evil and could bring about the end of the world. The film was directed by Peter Hyams (The Presidio).
The following weapons were used in the film End of Days:
Glock 34
Jericho Cane (Arnold Schwarzenegger) carries a Glock 34 as his sidearm throughout most of the film. Since this movie was filmed in 1998 and released in 1999, the Glock 34 was a brand new handgun at the time and is what is considered a "Hero Gun", a gun released exclusively for a film to advertise it. When the priests in the church try to explain to Jericho about the Devil and God, he remarks, "Between your faith and my Glock 9mm, I take my Glock.".
Glock 26
Jericho Cane keeps a pair of Glock 26 subcompact 9x19mm pistols hidden in his sleeves on unseen clips, ready to whip out in a seconds notice. It would appear Jericho has a liking for Glock pistols.
Glock 17
After Jericho has his Glock 34 taken away by Satan (Gabriel Byrne), he goes to the police station and grabs a Glock 17 3rd Generation to use as his sidearm for the rest of the film. When fleeing Satan on the subway, Christine York (Robin Tunney) asks if she can help and Jericho quickly teaches her how to use the Glock and gives it to her. Since the Glock 3rd Generation was brand new at the time as well, this is another "Hero Gun". Starting to see a pattern with the 9mm Glocks here?
Glock 19
The officer seen standing next to Detective Margie Francis (CCH Pounder) is often seen armed with a Glock 19 compact 9mm. Det. Francis herself is seen using this gun to point at Jericho during Satan's ceremony before Jericho kills her. By now, the film has pretty much advertised every 9x19mm Glock in the series, though the Glock 19's seen on-screen are the older 2nd-generation models, evidenced by the lack of accessory rails on the frame.
Heckler & Koch P7M13
Jericho's partner Bobby Chicago (Kevin Pollak) uses a double stack stainless Heckler & Koch P7M13 as his sidearm in the film.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Before going to face Satan (Gabriel Byrne), Jericho goes to the security company's arsenal and grabs a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 fitted with a custom muzzle break and an M203 grenade launcher. The muzzle break is presumably added so the muzzle flash doesn't burn the M203 launcher underneath. This is a custom built weapon since the M203 was not built to be underslung on the MP5, and obviously has little tactical value on a close quarters submachine gun when the rounds have to reach a certain distance before they detonate. While M203 mounts have been built to fit MP5s, the only rounds sensible to use with it are beanbags and other non-HE rounds since a close quarter gun is not built to shoot long range grenades. Jericho uses the MP5 in combination with the Blackhawk Chalker Sling, a particular system of tactical weapons transport designed by a former Navy SEAL.
M203 grenade launcher
Fitted under Jericho's MP5A3 is an M203 grenade launcher. Before leaving the arsenal, Jericho is seen grabbing three fictional "40mm" rounds, two of which are yellow and one of which is red. Based on how they are seen used in the film, the yellow rounds explode on impact while the red round has a time-delayed fuse. Although it is not shown, if you listen carefully you can hear him grabbing a fourth grenade.
FN FAL Carbine
Thomas Aquinas (Derrick O'Connor ) uses an FN FAL carbine to try to assassinate The Man (Gabriel Byrne) near the beginning of the film, but Jericho saves the man and gets shot in the vest. While Jericho's vest appears to be soft body armor that would have been pierced by a .308 round, Bobby's knocks on the vest to make it sound like there's a ballistic plate underneath. Aquinas abandons the gun when it malfunctions.
Beretta 92FS
One of the knights of the Catholic church shoots at Jericho and Chicago in Christine's house with a Beretta 92FS. One of the police guarding The Man at the beginning of the film is seen using one too.
At the police station, a rack of pistols is seen filled mainly with Berettas, and some unidentified handguns.
Smith & Wesson Model 66 Snub
When Thomas is grabbed off the roof by Jericho, both suspended by a wire, Thomas draws a Smith & Wesson Model 66 snub and fires at him. He tries to use it to shoot Jericho in the subway but Jericho shoots him in the legs and he drops it.
Smith & Wesson Model 38 "Bodyguard"
Detective Margie Francis (CCH Pounder) uses a nickel plated Smith & Wesson Model 38 as her sidearm in the film.
Ruger Mk II suppressed
One of the thugs seen in the flashback in which Jericho's family is killed uses a Ruger Mk II Pistol fitted with a suppressor. The actor playing this thug is Sven-Ole Thorsen, who is good friends with Arnold Schwarzenegger and has made numerous cameos in Arnold's films. You might recognize him as Gutzon in The Quick and the Dead (1995) and the Mongolian guy wielding two machine guns in Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.
Remington 870 Sawed-Off
One of the thugs in Jericho's flashback uses a sawed-off Remington 870.
Mossberg 500
Several Mossberg 500 shotguns are seen on a rack in the arsenal.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
Several Heckler & Koch MP5K's are seen on a rack in the arsenal.
Colt Commando CAR-15
Unknown Colt Commando CAR-15 rifles can be seen on a rack in the arsenal.
Heckler & Koch SR9-TC
Two Heckler & Koch SR9-TC are seen on a rack in the arsenal. They are assumed to be SR9-TCs because they look to have PSG-style buttstocks.
