El Gringo (2012)

El Gringo is a 2012 action film that focuses on a former government operative (Scott Adkins) who finds himself on the run in Mexico from cartel soldiers as well as corrupt law enforcement. While the film is set in Mexico, the majority of the film was shot in Bulgaria and Louisiana, explaining the unusual amount of blank-firing only replicas used in the film.

The following weapons were used in the film El Gringo (2012):

Pistols

Beretta 92FS (Replica)

What appears to be a Beretta 92FS is seen wielded by several characters including The Man (Scott Adkins). As the film was largely shot in Bulgaria, this is more likely a Kimar Model 92 blank-firing replica.

Zoraki 925

The Man also uses a machine pistol that he took off a thug. This weapon appears to be the Zoraki 925, a blank-firing only weapon widespread in Eastern European countries (especially Hungary) because of the gun ownership laws.
