Driver: Parallel Lines is a 2006 video game by Reflections Interactive and published by Atari (PS2, XBOX) and Ubisoft (PC, Nintendo Wii). It follows the events of protagonist "TK", both before and after serving 28 years in New York's Sing Sing prison. The game is considered to be an improvement on its predecessor Driver 3.

The following weapons appear in the video game Driver: Parallel Lines:

Handguns

Beretta 92FS

Available while playing in 2006. The "Pistol", a Beretta 92FS, is the standard weapon in the 2006 section of the game. It also has unlimited ammo.

Desert Eagle MK I

Available while playing in 2006. An upgrade of the pistol, the Desert Eagle Mark I is called the "Gangster".

Smith & Wesson Model 686

Available while playing in 1978. The anachronistic to a pair of years Smith & Wesson Model 686 appears as the "44H" and is much stronger then the regular "Revolver", but has a limited range. It has the unique ability of being able to knock people over as well as killing them in one shot. Although this can hardly be seen directly in the game, its texture clearly shows the 7-shot cylinder, which makes it possible to distinguish it from the similar Model 500 and identify it as Model 686.

Shotguns

Mossberg 500 Bullpup

Available while playing in 2006. The Mossberg Bullpup appears as the "Shotgun'06" and, like its predecessor, has a short range but is full auto (even though the real thing is pump-action).

Remington 1100

Available while playing in 1978. Simply called the "Shotgun", the Remington 1100 has a short range, but is very powerful. In the game, it is shown with a wooden furniture, pistol grip and an extended magazine tube. In order to completely confuse the situation, it also has the Remington Model 870's pump forend.

Submachine Guns

FN P90

Available while playing in 2006. The FN P90 appears as the "F 70" and has a higher rate of fire than the SF 10, but is less powerful. It is very incorrectly modeled in the game (and, as an exception, it corresponds to its HUD icon), without few elements, and it seems to be smaller than its real size.

Mini Uzi

Available while playing in 1978. As the "Service 9", the Mini Uzi is the first automatic weapon encountered in the game. The wire stock is removed on the in-game model.

Assault Rifles

AKM

Available while playing in 1978. In the PC version, "LI-15" is changed to the AKM. Howewer, in the game it is inaccurately modeled without a gas tube, rear sight, and with solid forearm without holes, what makes it look more like as Saiga-12K.

Steyr AUG

Available while playing in 2006. As the "Aust Pup", the Steyr AUG is almost the same as the SF 10, with the slower rate of fire but good accuracy. Interestingly, despite being portrayed as a "modern" firearm, the AUG was actually introduced in 1978.

Machine Guns

M134 Minigun

Available while playing in 2006. A hand-held Minigun is called the "Blaine" (a reference to Predator) is the most powerful weapon in the 2006 section of the game, and has a high magazine capacity.

This is an airsoft version which retains the half-circle attachment point for the M60 foregrip from Predator; the real T2 minigun did not have this - (fake) 7.62x51mm NATO

Grenade Launchers

Heckler & Koch HK69A1

Available while playing in 2006. Incorrectly called the "RPG", the Heckler & Koch HK69A1 functions more like a rocket launcher. The projectiles however advance very slowly, at a speed of less than 140 mph (as it is possible to drive into the back of one at this speed).

M79 Grenade Launcher

Available while playing in 1978. The M79 Grenade Launcher returned from previous game, and appears as "Grenade Launcher", and it is the strongest weapon in the 1978 section of the game, but has a very slow reload time. The model looks oddly damaged this time, missing parts of the forearm and barrel, and front sight; whether this is intentional or a conversion error, is unknown.

Others

Armalite AR-10

The Armalite AR-10 appears as the "LI-15" on the console versions, it was replaced by the AK in the PC version, It is favoured for its automatic power.

Glock 18C

The 3rd gen Glock 18C was used by police in the pre-release version of the game, as could be seen in the PS2 demo. The texture file for 1978's weapons still contains the texture, including the features of the Glock 18c. However, it does not appear in the final version of the game. It would in any case be an anachronism, as even the original Glock 17 was not available until 1982.

M16A2

The anachronistic M16A2 with 20-round magazine is seen on the few pre-release screenshots. Subsequently, it was replaced by a more authentic AR-10, it appears to be the same weapon from Driver 3.

SIG-Sauer P225

The same mismash SIG from Driver 3 can be seen in certain pre-rendered mission briefings/early screenshots for the '78 section of the game, considering how out of place it would be, it was likely just a placeholder.
