Nice, but where's the trigger?

Doctor Zhivago (1965)

The following firearms are used in the film Doctor Zhivago:

Garate Revolver

When his peaceful demonstration is attacked by Cossacks, Pasha (Tom Courtanay) picks up a Spanish copy of the Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action, the Garate .455 Revolver, later giving it to Lara (Julie Christie) to hide. Lara uses it to shoot Komarovsky (Rod Steiger) in the arm.

M39 Rifles

Many Russian soldiers are seen fighting with M39 Rifles fixed with bayonets standing for Mosin Nagants, which weren't available since the film was made during the Cold War.

M1891 Rifles

Some Russian soldiers like Pasha are seen with historically correct M91 rifles. These can be identified by the lack of a semi-pistol grip and a spike bayonet that attached to the front sight base. Presumably, these were Finnish M91s, since M91s in Soviet service would have been modified into M91/30s and not available due to the Cold War anyway.

Mauser Rifles

In the scene where the soldiers mutiny, it is clear that they are using Mauser rifles. These are probably Swedish or Turkish Mausers, due to their long length, handguard that doesn't reach as far as the stock, and bayonet lugs under the cleaning rod instead of between the cleaning rod and the barrel.

In this photo, you can see one Mauser being held upside down, its characteristic receiver and bolt action in clear view.

Maxim M1910

A Maxim M1910 machine gun is seen being used by Russian soldiers.
