Dick Tracy (1990)

Dick Tracy is a 1990 American pulp crime film based on the 1930s comic strip of Chester Gould, which directed, produced and starred Warren Beatty. In the film have supporting roles Al Pacino, Charles Durning, Madonna and Dustin Hoffman.

Colt M1921 Thompson Submachine Gun

The Colt M1921 Thompson Submachine Gun is used by numerous characters including Dick Tracy (Warren Beatty).

Colt 1921 "Tommy Gun" - .45 ACP

Flattop (William Forsythe) blasts away with his Tommy Gun.

Sam Catchem (Seymour Cassel), holding a Tommy Gun, confers with Chief Brandon (Charles Durning).

Dick Tracy takes aim at bad guys with his Tommy Gun.

M1911A1

Many characters use Colt M1911A1 automatic pistols, the gangsters in particular. Alphonse "Big Boy" Caprice (Al Pacino) uses an M1911 at the end to shoot The Blank/Breathless Mahoney (Madonna).

Pre-War Colt M1911A1 Pistol - Commercial Model known as the "Colt Government Model" - .45 ACP. This has a deep Colt factory blued finish, common for commercial variants before and after the war.

Flattop and Itchy (Ed O'Ross) hold Tracy at gunpoint.

"Anybody shoots, I shoot you, sweetpea!"
Flattop holds Tess Trueheart hostage.

The Blank holds an M1911 on Tracy.

Colt Model 1903

Dick Tracy (Warren Beatty) is seen picking up a Colt Model 1903 at the beginning of the film. The Blank also uses a Colt Model 1903. After killing Fletcher with it, the Blank has an unconscious Tracy brought in and then puts the gun in his hand to frame him.

Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless Pistol Blued - .32 ACP

Tracy picks up his Colt Model 1903.

The handle of the Colt visible at the Blank straightens Tracy's hat.

Tracy awakes to find Fletcher dead and him holding the murder weapon.

Smith & Wesson Military & Police

A Smith & Wesson Military & Police (Pre-Model 10) revolver is the sidearm of Tracy's superior, Chief Brandon (Charles Durning).

Smith & Wesson 'Military & Police' Revolver - .38 Special

Brandon fires on escaping gangsters.

Colt Official Police

The Blank plants a Colt Official Police revolver on Fletcher (Dick Van Dyke) after shooting him.

Colt Official Police with 4" barrel - .38 Special

The Blank places a Revolver on the dead Fletcher (Dick Van Dyke).
