M1911A1

In the beginning of the film when the zombie outbreak first starts, one of Ana's (Sarah Polley) neighbors can be seen with an M1911A1 pistol and threatening her to stay back before he is hit by an out of control ambulance.

Remington 870

Kenneth (Ving Rhames) uses a police issue Remington 870 shotgun fitted with a flashlight attachment on the foregrip as his signature weapon. He uses it for most of the film until the survivors go to rescue Nicole (Lindy Booth). He loses the weapon when it runs out of ammuniion and a zombie grabs it out of his hand.

Beretta Inox

Andre (Mekhi Phifer) uses a Beretta Inox as his weapon. This pistol is also used by other characters, mainly CJ (Michael Kelly) when he clears out the metropolis area of the mall of any zombies.
