Cry Macho is a 2021 drama co-produced, directed by and starring Clint Eastwood as Mike Milo, a former rodeo star who is asked by his ex-boss to go across the border into Mexico to find his young son. The film was adapted from the 1975 novel written by N. Richard Nash (who also co-wrote the screenplay) and the cast included Dwight Yoakam, Natalia Traven, Fernanda Urrejola, and Eduardo Minett and was released in the US simultaneously in theaters and on the streaming service HBO MAX on September 17, 2021.
