Code of Honor: The French Foreign Legion (2007)

Code of Honor: The French Foreign Legion is just another low-budget first-person shooter made by City Interactive, available for the PC. The story deals with some military action of the French Foreign Legion in Ivory Coast. The main protagonist, legionnaire Claude Boulet, was also featured in the successor Code of Honor 2: Conspiracy Island.

Note: Code of Honor and its successor don't share that many weapons, since the original game used the Chrome engine and thus all weapons had to be remodeled for the new game.

The following weapons appear in the video game Code of Honor:

This promotional image shows renderings of all weapons included in this game. Oddly, the H&K USP Compact is shown without suppressor and the MAS AA-52 looks like it would be a weapon to be carried by the player (which is not the case).

Handguns

Smith & Wesson 945

The Smith & Wesson 945 is the standard issue handgun to the player. Ingame it is incorrectly called a Colt M1911.

Stainless Smith & Wesson M945 - .45 ACP
The player holds the S&W M945
Reloading also shows nice details, like the model designation
Looking down the top sights of the M945

Heckler & Koch USP Compact

The Heckler & Koch USP Compact comes with a fixed suppressor.

Just as with the S&W, reloading reveals more details of the model. Note the safety is modeled always on.
And here again, aiming this way is just pointless, as nothing seems to be aligned along the barrel.

Submachine Guns

Heckler & Koch MP5SD6

The Heckler & Koch MP5SD6 is the only suppressed full-automatic weapon and also the only SMG in the game.

Enjoy this sight or not, it's one of the more detailed in this game

Shotguns

Franchi SPAS-12

The Franchi SPAS-12 (normal barrel, folded stock) is the only shotgun in the game.

Franchi SPAS-12 with stock folded and butt-hook removed - 12 Gauge

Cocking is all you can do with this gun, it doesn't even have usable ironsights

Assault Rifles

FAMAS G1/G2

The FAMAS is the default assault rifle of the player. Specifically, it seems to be a mix of the G1 and the G2 version

FAMAS G1 - 5.56x45mm. Older intermediate version of the G2 with magazine and magazine release system from the FAMAS F1.
FAMAS G2 - 5.56x45mm
Guess what? The player is holding the FAMAS in this picture.

AK-47

The AK-47 is the most common weapon of the enemies. Although it is ingame called AK-74, it's quite obvious that this is not this model. Also available with GP-30 grenade launcher.

AK-47 - 7.62x39mm
Very familiar - the player and his AK-47
Not only these sights here reveal that it's not a Norinco Type 56

Sniper Rifles

Heckler & Koch PSG-1

The Heckler & Koch PSG-1 is one of two available sniper rifles in the game.

PSG-1 and FR F2 obviously share the same scope ingame

FR F2

The FR F2 is the other sniper rifle.

FR F2 - 7.62x51mm NATO
No camouflage around the F2, but yet a nice one

Machine Guns

MAS AA-52

The MAS AA-52 is the only machine gun in the game and only appears as a static or vehicle-mounted weapon. Named MAS AAT F1 ingame.

Grenade Launchers

Milkor MGL Mk 1L

The Milkor MGL Mk 1L is a quite powerful grenade launcher. Oddly, the grenades fired are detonated by time and not by impact.

Milkor M32 MGL - 40mm. This is one of the screen used props in the film Transformers.
Typical view of the MGL-140 in the hands of the player
Reloading again shows more details of the launcher itself. Smoke from a detonated grenade can be seen in the rear.

GP-30

The GP-30 grenade launcher appears mounted under the barrel of the AK-47 assault rifle. Oddly, it never has to be reloaded and can fire a heck of a lot of grenades within seconds. On the other hand the player can no longer aim this AK-47 by the sights, since the "secondary fire" button now fires the GP-30 instead of bringing up the ironsights.

Rocket Launchers

RPG-7

The RPG-7 is the usual anti-tank weapon of the enemies. Of course it has a mounted scope on it.

Looks like a somewhat accurate depiction of the RPG-7 scope

LRAC F1

The LRAC F1 AT missile is mentioned ingame as the LRAC 89. Has homing ability, which is in some missions required to shoot tanks or even helicopters.

The sight of the LRAC F1 reveals considerably more advanced technology than the RPG-7

Hand Grenades

Unidentified Hand Grenades

These hand grenades are used by both the player and the enemies. Just like in Call of Duty 2, a "grenade warning" icon appears on the screen when one of these lumps near the player.
