Clark Johnson is an American actor/director known for his role as Det. Meldrick Lewis in the NBC series Homicide: Life on the Street as well as appearing in such series as Night Heat and The Wire. He also has appeared in the films Adventures in Babysitting, Renegades, Colors, and Iron Eagle II. He has since gone on to direct several episodes of the series Homicide: Life on the Street and The Shield as well as the feature films S.W.A.T. (2003) and The Sentinel (2006).
