Should we include Eastern Bloc produced Westerns as well? --Funkychinaman (talk) 10:10, 16 July 2015 (EDT)

It's a problem. If we'll include East German Trail of the Falcon, then what about West German Treasure of Silver Lake? Greg-Z (talk) 10:51, 16 July 2015 (EDT)
Or ANY European produced Western? I didn't even realize this was a category, and I don't know if should be a category. --Funkychinaman (talk) 12:27, 16 July 2015 (EDT)
Wikipedia suggests a term Eurowesterns (here). I think that we should keep Spaghetti Western category for real Italian or Italian-Spanish movies and make a Eurowestern category for all other European western-style films (and NOT including Bollywood "curry westerns"). Greg-Z (talk) 12:45, 16 July 2015 (EDT)
But at the end of the day, they're all still westerns. Do you really need more and more specific categories within categories? --Funkychinaman (talk) 12:52, 16 July 2015 (EDT)
I see. Such detailed classification would be good for IMDb, not for IMFDB. But I dare not call a German-French-Yugoslavian film a "Spaghetti". :) Greg-Z (talk) 13:29, 16 July 2015 (EDT)
True, that would be inappropriate. We already denote the genre (Western) and the country produced, so that should be enough. I guess we'll just leave it as it is. --Funkychinaman (talk) 13:41, 16 July 2015 (EDT)
Agree. Greg-Z (talk) 15:44, 16 July 2015 (EDT)
