Russ Meyer (March 21, 1922 - September 18, 2004) was a producer, director, writer, cinematographer and actor. He began as an amateur filmmaker, then served in the US Amy as a combat photographer during World War II. During his professional career, his films often featured voluptuous, sexually aggressive women.
