When the suspect is shot with the Taser however, he bursts into flames and burns to death. Later on, Nick Stokes ([[George Eads]]) can be seen firing the Taser in the crime lab while trying to recreate the conditions of the incident, the investigation revealing that the mace used prior to the taser shot was a civilian brand that was not approved for LVPD use due to it being potentially flammable. This incident was later tested in an episode of ''[[Mythbusters]]'', the hosts also having had a cameo appearance as lab technicians looking on as Nick Stokes was test-firing the Taser.
