Bukit Kepong (1977)

A Bukit Kepong is the 1982 Malaysian war film based on the true story of the Bukit Kepong tragedy.

The following weapons were used in the film Bukit Kepong.

Submachine Guns

Sten Mk V

The Sten Mk V is the standard submachine gun for Federation of Malaya Police and Malay Regiment troops in the film, most featured had the forward pistol grip removed. Also, it has been used by the gunmens of the Malayan Communist Party. In the film, the Sten is used by Bukit Kepong police chief Sargeant Jamil Mohd Shah (Jins Shamsudin) and Constable Jaafar Hassan (Yusof Haslam) as they try to defend the station by communist forces.

Lee-Enfield No 4 Mk 1*

The Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk 1* is the standard service rifle seen carried by the majority of the Federation of Malaya Police officers. The No.4 Mk 1* rifle was also seen in the hands of the gunmens of Malayan Communist Party and the Malay Regiment troops.
