Beasts of No Nation is a 2015 Netflix original film that is an adaptation of the 2005 novel of the same name by Uzodinma Iweala. The film follows Agu (Abraham Attah), a young boy growing up in an unnamed African nation during a civil war. When his family is killed by rebels, Agu finds himself drafted as a child soldier in the rebel army run by the Commandant (Idris Elba). The film was the first original feature released by Netflix and was directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, who had helmed every episode of the first season of the series True Detective.

Makarov PM
A Makarov PM pistol is the sidearm of Commandant (Idris Elba).
Rifles
AKMS
Agu (Abraham Attah) uses an AKMS throughout the film. The rifle has a smooth receiver cover and a Chinese Type 56 plastic handguard, but has the open sights and slanted muzzle brake of an AKMS. Rebel fighters are also frequently seen with AKMS rifles with triangular single strut folding stocks.
AKM
The AKM is another rifle commonly used by the rebel fighters.
Heckler & Koch G3A3
MONUC peacekeepers, government soldiers and rebels are armed with Heckler & Koch G3A3 rifles.
Machine Guns
FN MAG-58
FN MAG-58 machine guns are seen used by both government and rebel forces.
Browning M1919A4
Browning M1919A4 machine guns are seen on some military vehicles.
Browning M2HB
Browning M2HB machine guns are seen mounted on government jeeps and rebel technicals.

Rebels are seen armed with the Chinese Type 69 RPG launcher.
