Baa Baa Black Sheep was a World War II television series that aired from 1976 to 1978 on NBC and was inspired by the exploits of Marine fighter ace Greg "Pappy" Boyington. The series starred Robert Conrad as Boyington as he commanded a squadron of misfit Marine fighter pilots who came to be known as the "Black Sheep". The show also went under the name "Black Sheep Squadron".
