Assault on Precinct 13 is the 2005 remake of the 1976 John Carpenter thriller. The remake was directed by Jean-François Richet and changes the setting from Los Angeles to Detroit.
The following weapons were used in the 2005 remake of the film Assault on Precinct 13
Rifles
SIG SG 552
One of the weapons in which Marcus Duvall's men use are heavily customized SIG SG 552. These 552s have Aimpoint M68 red dot sights, suppressors, red lasers, flashlights, and forward rail grips. Sgt. Jake Roenick (Ethan Hawke), Marion Bishop (Laurence Fishburne), and Beck (John Leguizamo) all are seen using this rifle.
Special
Colt Model 727
One of Duvall's men is armed with a Colt M727 with a 40mm M203 grenade launcher.
Handguns
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is used by several characters in the film including Roenick, Sgt. Jasper O'Shea (Brian Dennehy), Iris Ferry (Drea de Matteo) Capt. Marcus Duvall (Gabriel Byrne) and Dr. Alex Sabian (Maria Bello). It's also used by the corrections officers as well as Bishop (Laurence Fishburne). It appears to be the standard issue sidearm of the Detroit Police Department in the film thought a Smith & Wesson M&P would be a more accurate choice.
Beretta 92FS Inox
Beretta 92FS Inox handguns are used by the two Serbian gangsters in the beginning of the film. One of Bishop's men also uses one at the church.
Para-Ordnance Carry
A crooked cop in the church holds a Para-Ordnance Carry on Bishop, but Bishop disarms him and kills him with an ink pen before he can use it.
Special
SIG Sauer P226
Marion Bishop (Laurence Fishburne) is carrying a two tone SIG P226 when he is captured at the church.
Special
Para-Ordnance P-13 Limited
Sgt. Jake Roenick (Ethan Hawke) carries as his sidearm a stainless Para-Ordnance P-13, a high capacity .45 semi-auto.
Special
Sniper Rifle
Accuracy International AWP
Another weapon in which Marcus Duvall's men use is the Accuracy International AWP sniper rifle. One of the snipers seen is film armorer Al Vrkljan, who often appears in cameos in such films as The Incredible Hulk and The Sentinel.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
In addition to the SIG rifles, some of Duvall's men are armed with Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns fitted with suppressors, laser sights, and Surefire weaponlights.
Special
M1928 Thompson
In the beginning of the film, Sgt. Jasper (Brian Dennehy) can be seen examining and talking about an M1928 Thompson in the evidence room. Anna (Aisha Hinds) also takes this weapon for her own use later in the movie.
Special
Shotguns
Mossberg 500
One of the police that escorts Bishop to the prison bus is armed with a Mossberg 500 shotgun. One of Duvall's men can also be seen using a Mossberg 500 with an extended magazine tube.
Remington 870
Officer Rosen (Kim Coates) and Officer Gil (Dorian Harewood), the guards on the prison bus, are seen carrying Remington 870 shotguns in addition to their Berettas. Roenick also carries a Remington 870 in some scenes.
Other
M203 Grenade Launcher
One of Duvall's has an M203 grenade launcher on his M727, which he fires at the Precinct with blinding and deafening results.
