Assault on Precinct 13 (2005)

Assault on Precinct 13 is the 2005 remake of the 1976 John Carpenter thriller. The remake was directed by Jean-François Richet and changes the setting from Los Angeles to Detroit, where Sgt. Jake Roenick (Ethan Hawke) must prevent a team of corrupt officers from eliminating known crime boss Marion Bishop (Laurence Fishburne) in a decomissioned Detroit police precinct during a winter snowstorm. The film's cast includes John Leguizamo, Maria Bello, and Gabriel Byrne and was released in the US to theaters on January 19, 2005.

The Beretta 92FS is used by several characters in the film including Roenick, Sgt. Jasper O'Shea (Brian Dennehy), Iris Ferry (Drea de Matteo) Captain Marcus Duvall (Gabriel Byrne) and Dr. Alex Sabian (Maria Bello). It's also used by the corrections officers as well as Bishop (Laurence Fishburne).

SIG SG 552

Marcus Duvall's (Gabriel Byrne) men also use heavily customized SIG SG 552s. These 552s have Aimpoint M68 red dot sights, suppressors, red lasers, flashlights, and forward rail grips. Sergeant Jake Roenick (Ethan Hawke), Marion Bishop (Laurence Fishburne), and Beck (John Leguizamo) all are seen using these carbines. Charles Taylor, the film's armorer, mentioned in a BTS featurette that some of the weapons were electrical replicas to be used when fired at the principle actors.
