The last version produced by AMSD is known as the OM 50 Nemesis MK5, which has a redesigned pistol grip, magazine well, buttstock, and bolt handle. Recently, Swiss Arms (formerly SIG) acquired the rights to further develop and manufacture the Nemesis. Swiss Arms made several changes and improvements to the rifle and are currently offering the updated version of the Nemesis. The new design of the gun also called for a new designation: the SG 511.

Two versions of the SG 511 are known: 511-1 and 511-2. The only difference is that the 511-2 is made of more durable but also heavier materials. Both versions come with five different barrel lengths: 17.5", 22", 27.5", 32" and 36".
