The '''AK-107''' is a full-sized assault rifle in 5.45x39mm with a "balanced action" system (also found on the [[AEK-971]]) for much better recoil control and accuracy. Physically, it is a modernized version of the AL-7 prototype assault rifle, and the AK in its name does not stand for Avtomat Kalashnikov, and instead for Alexandrov/Kalashnikov.
