''5 Days of War'' is a 2011 movie about the 2008 South Ossetia War. 5 Days of War is a 2011 movie about the 2008 South Ossetia War. Directed by Renny Harlin, the film depicts an American reporter and his British cameraman caught on the front lines of Russia's invasion of Georgia. After they are caught filming war crimes committed by pro-Russian militias, they become the target of a Russian officer and his thuggish mercenary.
