The 39 Steps is a 2008 British television movie directed by James Hawes starring Rupert Penry-Jones and Lydia Leonard. It is the fourth film adaptation of James Buchan's novel of the same name.

Richard Hannay (Rupert Penry-Jones) pulls a Webley Mk VI when confronting Scudder (Eddie Marsan). Ackerman (Werner Daehn) later gets his hands on it.
