Funny looking revolver

A dying Lt. Wadakura (Masumi Okada) hands Paul Racine (Christopher Lambert) his service weapons, which appears to be a Colt Detective Special. It just looks a little... off. IMDb lists Japan (specifically, Nagoya) and Vancouver as filming locations. IMDb also states that the train interiors, where the cap on the bottom came from, was filmed in Vancouver. Since the Timecop SMG also appears to be in the film, I'm just assuming most of the generic interior scenes, like at the hospital, were done in Vancouver, so it's probably a real gun, as opposed to a flash paper gun. --Funkychinaman 03:04, 15 July 2012 (CDT)

There are six rounds in the cylinder, so it's not a Nambu Model 60. It also has fixed sights.

I'm pretty sure this scene was shot in Japan, since I doubt they'd bother recreating an entire pachinko parlor. This appears to be a different revolver.
The barrel looks a bit thin. The exposed ejector rod would suggest a first gen DS, but the front sight is all wrong.
