NCIS: Los Angeles - Season 2
The following weapons appear in Season 2 of the television series NCIS: Los Angeles:
Pistols
SIG-Sauer P228
The SIG-Sauer P228 is the main sidearm carried by the majority of the NCIS Special Agents in the Office of Special Projects including G. Callen (Chris O'Donnell), Sam Hanna (L.L. Cool J), and Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) in Season 2. FBI Special Agent John White holds a suppressed SIG on Tracy Keller (Marisol Nichols) in Season 2's "Stand-off" (S2E06). A couple of P228s were found in Yemen in Season 2's "Harm's Way", brought to the country with CIA help.
SIG-Sauer P226
A SIG-Sauer P226 is found in an Al Qaeda safehouse by G in "Anonymous" (S2E07).
Glock 17
An assassin in "Overwatch" (S2E12) infiltrates the LA coroner's office with a suppressed Glock 17, killing a morgue worker. In "Black Widow" (S2E02), an assassin disguised as a construction worker draws a silenced Glock 17 at Emma's SUV. Some of the mercenaries use Glock 17s along with Glock 19s in "Archangel" (S2E13). G is armed with a Glock 17 while disguised as a California Highway Patrol officer in "Empty Quiver" (S2E16).
Glock 17 (Full Auto Conversion)
A two-toned Glock 17 converted to fire on full auto is used in "Tin Soldiers" (S2E15).
Glock 19
In "Disorder" (S2E11), former Navy Lieutenant Lance Talbot holds a Glock 19. A few mercenaries are seen using the Glock 19 in "Archangel" (S2E13). Vekar uses one when he tries to take aim at Kensi in "Personal" (S2E17).
Glock 26
Hetty (Linda Hunt) is seen carrying a Glock 26 notably in "Absolution" (S2E09).
Beretta 92FS
Beginning in Season 2, Detective Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) carries a Beretta 92FS as his main sidearm due to his status with the LAPD and merely assignment to NCIS as a liaison officer. Deeks claims he likes it due to the manual safety saving his life when a Junkie grabbed it from him and that he can manually load the chamber if his magazines malfunction. Emma Mastin (Liane Balaban) is seen using a 92FS when defending herself from a hit team in "Black Widow" (S2E02). In a continuity error, the Beretta switches to a Glock 26 depending on the angle.
Colt XSE 1911
In "Disorder" (S2E11), an Iranian Takavar commando takes aim with a Colt XSE 1911 in a confrontation with Kenzi.
M1911A1 (Nickel)
A nickel M1911A1 is taken by Abdul Habasa in "Harm's Way" (S2E18).
Heckler & Koch USP
A Taliban gunman in "Bounty" (S2E08) is seen with a Heckler & Koch USP.
Makarov PM
One of three GRU operatives holds a Makarov PM in "Deliverance" (S2E10).
Rohrbaugh R9
In "Deliverance" (S2E10), a Rohrbaugh R9 is seen when Hetty is placing the book in her safety deposit box.
Browning Buckmark Camper
Blonde Russian #1 (Nico Evers-Swindell), a Russian GRU operative uses a suppressed a suppressed Browning Buckmark Pistol, which he refers to as a "point-two-two" to murder a sheriff's deputy who pulled him over in "Deliverance" (S2E10).
Heckler & Koch P2000
ISI Agent Jafar Khan (Dariush Kashani) pulls a suppressed Heckler & Koch P2000 after his arrival in Afghanistan in "Bounty" (S2E08).
Walther PPK
A Walther PPK is used by ex-Stasi agent Mattias (Jürgen Prochnow) in "Absolution" (S2E09).
Beretta 950 Jetfire
A Beretta 950 Jetfire is used by a Hispanic gangster to gun down Deeks in a grocery store in "Personal" (S2E17).
Smith & Wesson Chief's Special CS40
A Smith & Wesson Chief's Special CS40 is used by Arkady Kolcheck (Vyto Ruginis) as his personal sidearm when he and G are ambushed inside the stadium by heavily armed gunmen in "Tin Soldiers" (S2E15).
Smith & Wesson 1076
A suppressed Smith & Wesson 1076 is used in "Empty Quiver". Deeks is later seen holding the weapon.
Revolvers
Charter Arms Bulldog Pug
A Charter Arms Bulldog appears to be used by former Lt. Talbot in "Disorder" (S2E11).
Submachine Guns
Brügger & Thomet MP-9
A Brügger & Thomet MP-9 is used by a gunman in "Tin Soldiers" (S2E15).
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
Heckler & Koch MP5A2s with rails on the upper receiver and foregrip are used by ex-French GIGN operators turned mercenaries in "Empty Quiver" (S2E16). G and the other NCIS agents use MP5A2s with almost the same features used by the mercenaries with suppressors attached on the barrels and red dot scopes with taclights.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
In "Stand-off", they are used as primary weapons for bodyguards of arms dealer James Mason. They were used by Taliban gunmen to assassinate the son of an ex-Task Force 232 commando with G and Callen in "Bounty".
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
In "Black Widow" (S2E02), Thierry (Waleed Zuaiter), a member of the hit team uses a MP5K-PDW in an attempt to neutralize the NCIS team defending Emma Mastin. Kenzi (Daniela Ruah) and Marty Deeks use them during the rescue mission in "Borderline" (S2E03).
IMI Uzi
An Al-Qaeda terrorist fires an Uzi at G and Callen while fleeing via SUV. Another is used by an assassin to gun down an ex-US Navy intelligence analyst.
Sa. Vz.61 Skorpion
Russian GRU operatives are seen using stockless Sa. Vz.61 Skorpions with 20-round magazines throughout "Deliverance" (S2E10).
Intratec TEC-9
A variant of the Intratec TEC-9 series of assault pistols can be seen being used by a gunman in "Tin Soldiers" (S2E15).
Assault Rifles
AKs
Unknown AK Variant
A couple of AK rifles are used by the mercenaries posing as Pan Islamic Brotherhood Jihadist terrorists in "Empty Quiver" (S2E16).
AKM
Kalil Abramson (Carlo Rota) fires an AKM (disguised to look like AK-74) at Sam and Dom after arriving on the rooftop in "Found". Warriors of Islam terrorists use the AKM as their main assault rifle in "Harm's Way".
AKMS
Mercenaries in "Borderline" use AKMS rifles when Kensi and Deeks rescue the captured Marines, and Marine Lance Corporal Shelly Hastings uses one as well. An AKMS without its folding stock is used by a Warriors of Islam terrorist in "Harm's Way".
AKMSU
In "Anonymous", a couple of AKMSU carbines are found by G and Callen during a raid on an Al-Qaeda safehouse in downtown LA. In "Bounty", AKMSUs are seen by Task Force 232 commandos in a photo during a briefing session, as well as being used as their main assault rifle.
M4A1 Carbine
Marines and NCIS agents use M4A1 carbines in "Borderline". The Marine weapons are fitted with ACOG scopes and the agents' rifles are fitted with EOTech sights and brass catchers. Kensi, Sam and Deeks have M4A1s with a Picatinny-equipped handguard that held vertical foregrip and scopes in "Black Widow". In "Borderland", Callen and Sam armed with a M4A1 that had a EOTech sight and vertical foregrip. NCIS tactical teams led by Hanna use M4A1s in "Personal".
SIG SG 551
Some SG 551s are used by ex-GIGN operators turned mercenaries in "Empty Quiver".
Sniper Rifles
Accuracy International AWM (Airsoft - Modified)
NCIS snipers are seen taking positions armed with what appears to be an airsoft version of the AWM rifle in "Black Widow" (S2E02). Likely used since a blank firing rifle would be unnecessary for this scene, the rifle appears to be the same weapon seen in Season 1's "Killshot".
Remington 700P
The Remington 700PSS of a fallen LAPD SWAT sniper is seen in "Stand-off" (S2E06). In "Empty Quiver" (S2E16), Kensi is seen taking up a position with the rifle.
SVD Dragunov
A Russian GRU operative holds Callen at gunpoint with a Dragunov sniper rifle.
Shotguns
Maverick Model 88
A short barreled version of the Maverick Model 88 shotgun fitted with a heat shield is used by ex-CIA/FBI agent Tracy Keller (Marisol Nichols) in "Stand-off" (S2E06) as her primary weapon. It is equipped with a heat shield on the barrel. It's also used by a mercenary in "Empty Quiver" (S2E16).
Heavy Weapons
Custom Launcher (Carl Gustav Recoilless Rifle)
James Mason is seen taking aim with an anti-armor rocket launcher that appears to be mocked-up from a Carl Gustav Recoilless Rifle in "Stand-off" (S2E06). The launcher has a riflescope on a picatinny railing. This prop launcher also appears to be the same one used in NCIS and Chuck.
M79 grenade launcher
A mercenary in Season 2's "Borderline" grabs an M79 grenade launcher to shoot at Kensi, Deeks and the rescued Marines, prompting Deeks to comment that it makes the end of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid look good. Fortunately, Marine backup arrives before he can kill anyone.
