Enfield No. 2
The British officers in the film's opening scene all carry holstered Enfield No. 2 revolvers, including one briefly commandeered by the doomed Lieutenant Morris (Tristan Shepherd). At the time of the film's setting in the winter of 1938, the Enfield No. 2 would have indeed been the standard issue sidearm of the British Army.
Beretta M1934
